Candy apple pieces
Overview
I received the new Dongling DL-TM018 bread machine just in time for apple season. Apples are sweet, big, cheap and fresh. Taking advantage of this season, make some candied apple slices and pair them with yogurt, milk, cereal, etc. for breakfast. The prepared candied apples can also be used as bread stuffing and apple pie. I used the Dongling bread machine and selected the jam function. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes. The taste was already very good, but I made two portions, so I used a non-stick pan to fry the candied apples to make them dryer for better storage~

Steps
-
Before using the new Dongling bread machine, bake it with a small amount of water for 10 minutes to remove the oil from the heating pipe, and then wash the bread barrel before use
-
Peel, core and cut the apples into 0.5CM cubes and place them in a clean, oil-free large bowl
-
Squeeze in the juice of half a fresh lemon
-
Pour in the fine sugar, mix well and let it sit for 1 hour, water will seep out
-
Pour the apples and sugar water into the Dongling bread bucket, and add 50ML of water
-
Cover with tin foil to prevent the juice from flying out, close the lid of the bread machine, and activate the jam button. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes

It was roughly in this state when it was taken out. In order to preserve it longer, I used a non-stick pan to fry it for a few minutes to make it easier to preserve the candied apples. If you don’t make a large amount, you don’t need to stir-fry it. You can eat it this way and it has the best taste

I fry the excess until there is almost no moisture at the end. When it cools down, the color will become darker and crystal clear

Store in a clean, oil-free bottle and seal
