Sweet potato with sweet plum
Overview
I really like the Taiwanese snack Ganmei Sweet Potato, which I often eat in snack streets outside. It’s so satisfying to eat a portion of sweet potato with a cup of milk tea or a bowl of noodles! 😍😍 Generally sweet potato flour or glutinous rice flour is used on the outside, which gives it a fluffy and crispy texture. I like sticky rice flour which is firmer and harder, so I choose sticky rice flour. Ganmei sweet potatoes are all made from orange sweet potatoes with sweet hearts. I have never tried sweet potatoes with a pink and waxy texture such as white, purple, and flower hearts. I guess it will be a bit dry when fried...🙄🙄But you can try it when you are bored and have limited ingredients... I just love making desserts, snacks, snacks, and snacks 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈Hahahaha

Steps
-
As shown in the picture, cut the sweet potatoes into strips and beat the eggs for later use
-
Dip the sweet potatoes into the egg liquid first and then evenly coat them with rice flour. Once everything is ready, put it on a plate so that the water in the sweet potatoes can better absorb the rice flour
-
Pour oil into a hot pan, heat the oil to 67%, shake off the excess powder, then put the sweet potatoes down and fry over low heat until the surface turns golden and becomes crispy and hard, ready to be taken out of the pan!
-
Pour the finished product into a large bowl with oil to control dryness, sprinkle with sour plum powder and toss evenly, and it’s ready to eat!

When I eat the finished product, I also like to add chili noodles to make it sweet and sour. It’s sour, sweet and spicy. It’s really delicious!
