Tangzhong Ham and Corn Toast – Bread Machine Version
Overview
Tangzhong Ham and Corn Toast - Bread Machine Version (Dongling DL-T13) After eating all kinds of dried fruit bread for a week, I really feel a little tired and don’t like it anymore... I thought I would like something salty, so Ham and Corn Toast was born. I can really only praise the Xiaoling T13: It’s so late to meet you! It turns out that the entire dough kneading process in my home bread machine takes an hour. I didn’t have high expectations when I came across the T13 this time. I didn't expect... I didn't expect... I spent 20 minutes kneading the dough, then added butter and kneaded it for another 10 minutes. Surprisingly... I overcooked it. Yes, I kneaded it too much... Wow~~~~ I threw away the puddle of mud and started all over again! Give you 100 likes! What an efficiency! If we had met earlier, I might not have bought a cooking machine, haha! Many people use bread machines to make bread, but the finished product is too heavy and not soft enough. This does not rule out the reasons for using different flours with different gluten contents. Also, most breads use the direct method, which is too troublesome and time-consuming. How can a lazy person make simple bread that is soft, delicious and not time-consuming? By the way, try Tang Zhong! ~ What I use here is 65°C Tang Zhong, and the ratio of flour to water is 1:5. See also the lazy person's method: first add the required amount to the container in proportion (for example, add 100G water to 20G powder), stir evenly, put it in the microwave, blanch it for 15 seconds, take it out and stir it, put it in the microwave oven for 15 seconds, take it out and stir it evenly... Repeat this several times until the flour and water are thick and paste-like. Take it out and let it cool before use. The excess can be refrigerated. It will be no problem for 2 to 3 days. Materials (900G): A: High-gluten flour: 380G High-sugar resistant yeast: 4.5G Salt: 5G White sugar: 40G Water: 270G B: Butter (unsalted): 30G C: Soup: 120G D: Ham dices & sweet corn kernels: 100G~120G (the proportion can be adjusted according to personal preference) ★Here I use diced smoked ham sausage. You can also use bacon instead. Fry and dice the bacon in a pan to make it more fragrant. Sweet corn kernels are available in cans, or you can use cooked corn kernels peeled off the cob. Production process: 1. Add high-gluten flour to the bread barrel, dig a small hole in the middle, add yeast powder and cover with flour. 2. Use a rubber spatula to push the flour into the middle to form a groove around it. Add the remaining ingredients of A and the tangzhong of C into the groove. Add D ham cubes and corn kernels to the fruit box. 3. Turn on one-click operation: basic bread----medium browning----weight 900G----automatic addition of fruit ingredients-----insulation (set as needed). That’s right, it’s that simple and worry-free. 4. After kneading the dough for 10 minutes, press the start button to pause, add ingredient B butter, and press start again to continue. 5.No more! Just go and do what you love, hehe. You can take out the bread after hearing the beep. Take out the hot bread and wait until it cools before slicing~
