Healthy millet porridge
Overview
The weather is dry in spring, so Cun'er added some dried figs and red dates to the moist porridge, which is delicious and healthy. Fig nature and flavor: sweet; cool in nature. Meridians: Lung; Stomach; Large Intestine. Functions and Indications: Clearing heat and promoting fluid production; strengthening the spleen and appetizing; detoxifying and reducing swelling. Main symptoms include sore throat, dry cough and hoarseness, sparse milk, intestinal heat, constipation, loss of appetite, indigestion, diarrhea, dysentery, carbuncle, and ringworm. Pregnant women should eat an appropriate amount of figs regularly.

Wash the dates and figs and set aside.

Place millet and fragrant rice in a rice cooker and rinse thoroughly.

Add chopped figs and red dates to the washed rice. Add 1200ml of water and soak for more than an hour, then simmer until thick.
