Gongmaru Chayote
Overview
Chayote can be used for cooking and can be eaten raw as a fruit. Because the melon is shaped like two palms placed together, it is also called the gastric melon. The fruit contains high zinc, which can alleviate vision loss in the elderly.

Wash the chayote, peel it, and cut it from the top to the middle

Scoop out the seeds inside

Cut into 5 mm thick pieces
