Pickles
Overview
When I was a kid, I often heard adults say that the more you eat scallions dipped in sauce, the more you eat them, the more you gain weight. In fact, when supplies were relatively scarce at that time, this was undoubtedly an expectation of adults for a better life. From the perspective of modern nutrition, onions are rich in carotene, vitamin C, edible fiber, fat-free, and low in calories; while the sauce is made of soybeans and is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals; the combination of the two is undoubtedly a golden combination. In addition, vegetables that can be eaten raw such as cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, and peppers, as well as some seasonal wild vegetables, are all good choices for dipping sauces.
