Date paste sesame dumplings
Overview
Most of the fillings for sesame balls sold in the market are bean paste fillings. In fact, the fillings of this type of snack can be prepared according to your own preferences. The snacks you make yourself are much cleaner than those sold at the stalls. Today I use jujube paste as filling to make a glutinous rice and sesame dumpling.

Main ingredients: glutinous rice flour, jujube paste Accessories: oil, yeast powder, sesame seeds

Add yeast powder to glutinous rice flour and stir in warm water.

Then knead into a smooth dough. Leave to ferment in a warm place for 2 hours.

Form the date paste filling into balls.

Take a piece of fermented glutinous rice dough, flatten it and add jujube balls.

Wrap it tightly and make a ball.

Roll and dip evenly in a layer of sesame seeds. Complete it in sequence, and it will become a raw sesame ball.

Heat the oil in a pan until it is about 40% hot, and add the green dough. Fry slowly over medium heat until the sesame balls float, about 5 minutes.

Remove and filter the oil with filter paper.
