Pick the cabbage and soak it in light salt water (for fear of pesticide residue).

Heat oil in a pan, add salt and the prepared shredded ginger and sauté until fragrant.

Add water or stock and bring to a boil.

Boil the water and add the cabbage sum.

Press the cabbage with chopsticks until the boiling water submerges the cabbage. Boil the water again for about 3 or 4 minutes.

Remove the cabbage sum and place it on a plate, then pour the cooking oil and salt water over it.
