  2. Pick the cabbage and soak it in light salt water (for fear of pesticide residue).

  3. Heat oil in a pan, add salt and the prepared shredded ginger and sauté until fragrant.

  6. Press the cabbage with chopsticks until the boiling water submerges the cabbage. Boil the water again for about 3 or 4 minutes.
