Overview
There’s not enough winter melon to eat at home, so I made some winter melon tea to drink in the summer. Winter melon tea is a health-preserving tea that relieves dryness and reduces swelling. It has the effects of whitening, removing freckles, reducing dryness, and removing edema.

Wash the winter melon, dry the surface moisture, cut into dices with the skin on, and put it into the pot

Add brown sugar and rice wine, stir evenly, marinate for half an hour, stir every 10 minutes to marinate the winter melon water.

After marinating, turn on the heat and bring to a boil. After the brown sugar is completely melted, add the ginger slices and continue to cook until the winter melon becomes transparent and the juice is a little thick. Turn off the heat and let it cool. If you don’t like winter melon residue, you can filter the water.
