Pearl vegetable soup: Chaoshan people’s favorite Kuaishou fresh soup
Overview
Loosestrife, whose scientific name is Artemisia leucophylla, is also called loosestrife or duck's foot mugwort. The leaves and tender stem tips are the most delicious. In summer and autumn, the leaves are the most delicious, while in winter, the roots have the strongest medicinal properties. However, this pearl vegetable is fresh and has a bit of lingering wildness. Outsiders may not be used to eating it, but if it is paired with pig blood and pig offal, the soup will be very delicious with a faint grassy flavor.
