Ingredients
Steps
-
Steam the purple sweet potato, peel it and mash it with a spoon. Remove the stems of the coriander and chop the leaves.
-
Add egg white, coriander, purple sweet potato puree, and cooking oil to the flour.
-
Add a small amount of salt and a few drops of sesame oil.
-
Those who don’t like spicy food can also add some chili powder. If you like the original flavor, you can skip it.
-
Add sesame seeds, mix well, and add appropriate amount of water. When kneading the dough, be careful to pinch the large particles of purple sweet potato puree.
-
Knead into a smooth dough. Leave to rise for 20 minutes.
-
Roll out the dough as thin as possible, the thinner the better the texture.
-
Poke small holes on the dough, the more the better, then gently turn the other side and pierce the holes as well.
-
Isn't it very thin?
-
Use your favorite mold to carve a flower pattern.
-
Cut out a round dough piece.
-
Wrap it with QQ sausage or dried fruit. QQ sausage is cut in half and wrapped in half to make it smaller and cuter.
-
Wrap it up, apply some water to seal it, and twist it on both sides to adjust it into natural wrinkles. Use a toothpick to poke a few small holes in it.
-
The remaining edges and corners can be reworked until the carving is complete.
-
Transfer the flower dough sheets to the baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 degrees for about 15 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid overcooking it, which will make it crispy after cooling.
