Lazy version of Portuguese tart
Overview
Every time I go to Macau, I can’t help but think of Margaret’s Portuguese tarts. They are crispy, tender and delicious, making me forget to leave. Now you can make Portuguese tarts at home, how amazing it is! This time I didn’t make complicated pastry, I just bought a semi-finished egg tart shell, it is convenient and quick. I really want to make the pastry by myself when I have time! This time, custard powder is added, and the taste can be compared with KFC! ! The egg tart core is incredibly tender!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Raw materials (I forgot to pat the egg tart crust)
-
Mix the milk, light cream, and sugar and heat it in a pot over medium-low heat. Cook the sugar until it melts, without boiling. Then turn off the heat and wait until it cools down.
-
After cooling, pour in the egg yolk and mix well
-
Pour in the custard powder and mix well. This step will easily form powder balls, which can be mixed and then sieved.
-
Take the Portuguese tart crust out of the refrigerator and defrost it for at least 30 minutes, then pour the Portuguese tart water into the Portuguese tart crust until it is 8-9 minutes full.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, bake the middle rack with upper and lower heat for 20-25 minutes, and it’s out of the oven!
