Chestnut Braised Pork Trotters
Overview

If you buy a pig's trotter in the supermarket, ask the service staff to cut it into pieces at the supermarket

After washing, pour boiling water to remove the fishy smell, boil the pot for one minute and take it out

Drain the water

The condiments include: cooking wine, green onion, ginger, chili. In fact, there should be garlic. I don’t have it at home, so I’ll make do with it

Put the pig's trotters and seasonings into the electric pressure cooker, add enough water to cover the pig's trotters

Press the electric pressure cooker onto the tendons

The pig's trotters will be stewed in an hour

Take out the pig's trotters, drain the water, put on a plate and set aside

Fry the sugar color, put the oil and white sugar into the pot together, stir-fry until the sugar turns red

Add the pig's trotters and stir-fry until they turn colour. Add the onion, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for a minute. Add water and add salt. The pig's trotters are already cooked, so you don't need to add too much water

Prepare peeled sugar-roasted chestnuts

Put it into the pot and stir-fry together for a few minutes. When the pig's trotters are flavored and the chestnuts are softer, add the chicken essence and it's ready to serve
