Braised winter melon with shrimps
Overview
In summer, I love eating these refreshing foods! The key is that shrimp not only enhances freshness, but also provides calcium.

Steps
-
Materials are ready. Chop the garlic and set aside; dice the winter melon and set aside.
-
I use small dried shrimps, which don’t need to be too big. They are eaten together with the dried shrimps, which is easy to smell. The dried shrimps are the most calcium-rich, and both children and adults should eat more.
-
Heat the oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, add the winter melon, stir-fry a few times to allow the winter melon to absorb the aroma of the garlic, then sprinkle in half a bowl of water and shrimp, cover and simmer.
-
Simmer for about 10 minutes, open the lid, add chicken powder and salt, and stir-fry; when the winter melon becomes transparent and the juice becomes thicker, it is ready to be plated.
