Baked Potato Chips
Overview
I pinned it on Allrecipe.com, and from time to time, some popular American or Western dishes are sent to me. There is a dish called RoastHerbPotatoWedges, and I started making it immediately. In his recipe, I specially added cornstarch to protect the potato strips with a layer of protective film, so that the moisture in the potato strips will not escape too much. After baking, there was basically no failure, the aroma was full, and the taste was very good.

Steps
-
Wash the potatoes with their skins on. The potatoes are placed flat. Turn the potatoes 90° and cut them in half from the height;
-
Then cut the potatoes vertically into three quarters into thin strips and place them in a large bowl;
-
Add 2/3 tsp salt, 1/3 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp dried thyme and 2 tsp cornstarch, mix well with your hands;
-
Add 1 tablespoon butter and stir evenly;
-
Spread a layer of butter evenly on the surface of the glass baking pan;
-
Put the potato strips skin down, spread them flat on the baking sheet, and bake them in a preheated oven. First use a low heat of 400°F and bake for about 30 minutes. The purpose is to bake the inside of the potato strips. Then change to surface heat (broil) and low setting (Low) and bake for 15-18 minutes. The purpose is to color the surface of the potato strips. After coloring, turn off the heat and take it out for eating.
