Purple sweet potato, rose and sesame dumplings
Overview
Finally, I decided to make some colorful glutinous rice dumplings regardless of my old comrade’s preference for white skin. Pumpkins are eaten on the first day of the lunar month, and purple sweet potatoes are eaten on the fifteenth day of the lunar month. Purple sweet potatoes are deep in color and always give people a stunning visual effect when added to pastries. However, although I wanted to make colorful glutinous rice balls, I still didn't dare to make the color too dark. Although it won't have the amazing effect you want, at least it will make everyone willing to eat a few. This is considered graceful. . . .

Dough: 200g glutinous rice flour, 25g purple sweet potato puree, 150g water,

Filling: 150g rose sesame glutinous rice dumpling filling

Pour the dough into a large bowl,

Knead into a uniform dough,

Divide into 30 equal parts.

Take a piece of dough and shape it into a small nest,

Push the dough up to cover the filling.

All done and ready to go.

Pour water into the pot and bring to a boil.

Add the glutinous rice balls and gently push them along the bottom of the pot with a spoon.

Bring to the boil again, turn to low heat, and simmer for about 20-30 minutes,
