Stewed raw pears with candied dates and longan
Overview
When I was young, I ate longan and candied dates as luxuries, and my family would only buy some during the Chinese New Year. When I give New Year greetings to my elders, I will definitely have longan and candied dates. The longan and candied date soup with memories is a Chinese dessert that is very suitable for winter. Add some raw pears to clear away heat and dryness, and it also neutralizes some of the sugar in the soup. It is sweet but not greasy!
