Homemade braised eggs
Overview
I usually like to eat braised eggs but I don’t feel comfortable buying them from outside, so I made them myself. They taste great!

Prepare the ingredients

Boil the eggs in cold water for eight minutes

Remove the shells from the hard-boiled eggs and set aside. Score each egg four times with a knife (score once for better flavor)

Pour 600 ml of water into the pot and add chili segments, ginger slices, star anise, Sichuan peppercorns, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, salt and chicken powder

Add the beaten eggs, cover the pot and cook for twenty minutes
