Millet Oatmeal Pumpkin Porridge
Overview
Millet enters the spleen, stomach, and kidney meridians and has the effect of strengthening the spleen and stomach. It is especially suitable for people with weak spleen and stomach. It can be cooked alone, or other ingredients can be added to make porridge with different flavors. This time I added instant oats and pumpkin to the millet porridge. Especially the addition of oats increased the viscosity of the porridge, as well as the unique sweet flavor of pumpkin. It is thick, nutritious and filling.

Millet is fully washed out of sediment.

Add appropriate amount of water and bring to boil over high heat.

Peel and dice the pumpkin.

When the millet is slightly thick and the popcorn is boiling, add the pumpkin.

Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium to low heat and continue simmering until the pumpkin is cooked and the soup thickens.

Add appropriate amount of oatmeal.

Boil again and turn off the heat.
