Overview

After the sandstorm, there were several days of windy weather, which seemed to be drier than in early spring. We always have white fungus at home, which happens to be stewed with peach gum. It saves time when stewing it in advance. The white fungus is soft and tender, the peach gum is elastic, and the soup is thicker. It’s better to have a bowl in dry weather.

  1. Soak the peach gum one day in advance, and change the water several times during the soaking process

  2. Soak the white fungus one day in advance and change the water several times during the soaking process

  3. Pour white fungus, peach gum, rock sugar, red dates and appropriate amount of water into the pot

  4. Simmer over low heat for about 20-30 minutes
