Totoro Biscuits
Overview
I bought a set of popular cartoon biscuit molds and kept them unused. I prefer Totoro among them, but it’s troublesome to put them together bit by bit when making biscuits. It’s not as fast as one molding, but it’s worth making for Totoro. Usually it takes me about 20 minutes to bake biscuits. This time I used Changdi Baking ManCRTF32K and I didn’t expect to put the biscuits in. When I went there, I looked at the time and planned to collect the biscuits at 20 minutes. My biscuits were not rolled out too thick, but I didn’t expect that as soon as I put them in, the biscuits seemed to be baked in less than 10 minutes. I couldn’t believe it, so I baked the biscuits for a few more minutes and the surface of the biscuits became a little heavy in color, so I had to pay more attention when baking the biscuits.

Steps
-
Prepare ingredients.
-
After the butter has softened at room temperature, put it into a whisk, add the powdered sugar in batches, and slowly mix together with a spatula, otherwise the powdered sugar will fly around.
-
Beat the butter until very fluffy and white, then add the egg liquid and continue beating.
-
Beat again until very fluffy and feathery.
-
Sift the flour into the whipped butter and mix well, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour before using.
-
Take out the biscuit dough and divide it into three parts (1 large, 1 medium and 1 small). Add 3 grams of cocoa powder to one large portion and knead evenly. Add 2 grams of cocoa powder to a small portion and knead evenly.
-
Roll out a large piece of cocoa dough into a moderately thick piece (if the dough is not flat, cover it with plastic wrap), and use a mold to cut out the body and arms of the chinchilla.
-
Cut out the belly and eyes of the chinchilla from the middle portion of the white dough.
-
Cut out small portions of cocoa dough to create Totoro’s umbrellas.
-
Combine the cut cookie dough to form an umbrella-holding chinchilla and place it on a baking sheet.
-
Bake in the preheated oven at 140 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes.
-
Use a paint pen to draw the lines of an umbrella and the expression of a chinchilla on the baked cookies.
-
The finished product needs to be sealed and stored if it cannot be eaten.
