Ingredients
Steps
-
First, wash the lemon with salt and then peel off the peel.
-
Cut the lemon into four slices as shown, leaving the center. This will squeeze out the most lemon juice.
-
Squeeze the lemon juice into the bowl as shown in the picture above
-
A big piece of rock sugar, waiting to be put into the pot
-
Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot to cover the lemon peel, or a little more. Put the rock sugar into the pot together and simmer over low heat until the rock sugar melts. During this period, you can tap the rock sugar cubes lightly to break them down quickly.
-
Cook until the lemon peel becomes soft and all the rock sugar melts. Turn off the heat and cool.
-
Mix the cooled lemon peel juice in the pot with the lemon juice in the bowl and stir evenly.
-
Scoop out two spoons of the mixed juice, add warm water to mix, sprinkle a few mint leaves, and the sweet and sour lemonade is ready. You can also add some honey.
-
Pour the remaining lemon juice mixture into an airtight jar and store it in the refrigerator. You can mix it as needed. If there is no sealed jar, you can also wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator as shown in the picture. Drink as soon as possible.
