Fruit peel

Fruit peel

Overview

Hawthorn is particularly effective in strengthening the stomach and digesting food, especially for meat. Every time I feel sick to my stomach after eating too much meat or feel too greasy, I will eat some hawthorn rolls. Some of the takeaway hawthorn rolls are too sweet, and I’m not used to the taste; the hawthorn wrappers are hard to buy and very hard, so I feel tired from eating them, so I feel safe making them myself.

  11. Mix hawthorn puree and syrup together

  12. When the hawthorn puree is slightly thickened, take out a portion and put it into sterilized oil-free and water-free containers. This is the hawthorn jam. Sweet and sour, it's great for spreading on toast.

  13. The remaining hawthorn sauce continues to cook until there is great resistance when stirring, and it hangs on the scraper and is not easy to fall off

    Fruit peel step 13
  14. Spread the cooked hawthorn sauce in a non-stick flat-bottomed container, scrape it into a thin, even layer with a triangular scraper, and place it in a ventilated place to dry. Now there is floor heating during the heating period, so I put it directly on the kitchen floor tiles

  15. Spread it on silicone paper and put it on the heated floor tiles to dry faster

    Fruit peel step 15
  16. Let it dry to your liking and then peel it off
