  1. Cut the softened butter into small pieces, add salt and sugar.

  9. Place the cookie batter on parchment paper and shape it into a long strip by hand, wrap it in parchment paper and freeze in the refrigerator until hard, about an hour or so.

  10. Take out the frozen dough and cut into 6mm thick slices.

  11. Place the cut cookie dough on a baking sheet. If it is not a gold plate, cover it with parchment paper.
