Osmanthus and water chestnut cake

Osmanthus and water chestnut cake

Overview

The day before yesterday, I made pineapple cake using white jelly according to Yimei's mother's recipe, which can also be called pineapple jelly. The baby didn't like the pink texture, so he asked me to make the water chestnut cake again. What a pity for my pineapple, haha. So some improvements were made on the previous methods, mainly the boiling of osmanthus. The finished product was a hit! Now share it with everyone.

Steps

  1. Prepare water chestnut powder and dried osmanthus. The amount of osmanthus in the picture is a bit too much, but you won’t actually use so much. Take control at your own discretion.

  2. Add sweet-scented osmanthus to purified water and add an appropriate amount of sugar. Bring to a boil. Let the dried osmanthus soak. The amount of osmanthus in the picture is a bit too much, I think it could be less.
