Overview
Mousse: a custard-style dessert that does not need to be baked. Except for the bottom layer of cake base, you can buy ready-made sponge cake. If you have an oven at home, of course you can make it yourself. If you don’t have it, just buy it, or you can omit it. I bought it this time. I happened to have no cake flour at home and was too lazy to go downstairs. I just used the sponge cake on the market and simply made the mousse liquid by myself. If you don’t add a layer of QQ jelly, you can directly put it in the refrigerator and enjoy it immediately

Take out the canned yellow peaches and drain the water

Pour into a food processor and use a hand blender to stir into yellow peach puree and set aside

Take a piece of sponge cake and press it gently with the bottom of the mousse cup

Then take out a piece of cake dough that can be used as the base

Invert the mouth of the mousse cup onto another piece of sponge cake, gently press it into a round shape, and use a knife to score along the edge of the round to form the cake base for the middle layer

Soak the gelatine slices in water until soft, drain the water, add milk, heat over water until the gelatine slices are completely melted, let cool and set aside

Add 20 grams of powdered sugar to the light cream, beat with an electric egg beater until lines appear and can barely flow

Add yellow peach puree to the light cream and mix evenly with a spatula

Pour the cooled gelatin milk liquid into the cream, stir evenly to form a mousse liquid

Put the bottom layer of small round cake base into the mousse cup

Pour half of the mousse liquid into the cup, and then add the cake base for the middle layer

Continue to pour in other mousse liquid until the cup is nine-tenths full, and refrigerate for more than 3 hours until the mousse liquid solidifies

Put QQ sugar and water into a bowl, stir over water until completely melted and mixed, let cool and set aside

After refrigeration, take out the solidified mousse cup and add sliced yellow peach for decoration

Then pour the cooled QQ liquid on the surface, continue to refrigerate for more than 3 hours, and serve after solidification
