Honey grapefruit tea
Overview
I really don’t dare to buy honey grapefruit tea sold outside. Forget about grapefruit, honey is definitely not good honey. It’s hard to say whether it is honey or not. There are also additives, so I decided to make it myself.

Steps
-
I bought two red pomeloes, which were relatively small, weighing more than a pound each.
-
Wash the grapefruit with salt first to prevent wax on the outside.
-
Use hot water to wash away the salt on the surface and peel it with a plane.
-
Peel off the skin
-
Then peel the grapefruit flesh out and separate it
-
Shred grapefruit peel
-
Boil water and add appropriate amount of rock sugar
-
Bring the water to a boil. When the rock sugar melts, add the grapefruit peel. Bring to the boil and simmer over low heat for about ten minutes until soft.
-
Then add grapefruit meat
-
Bring to a boil and simmer slowly over low heat, using a spoon to remove the foam.
-
Boil until the water is almost dry, then turn off the heat. When it is cold, put it into a clean bottle and add honey. I used Jiufengtang May Sophora japonica, authentic acacia raw honey.
-
Put it in a bottle, stir it, and you can eat it in a few days. It is sweet and sour, environmentally friendly and healthy.
