Osmanthus honey
Overview
It’s the season of osmanthus trees again. Walking in the community, the scent of osmanthus flowers hits my face. I enjoy the flowers and watch the bunches of golden flowers blooming. How can I miss it! The sweet-scented osmanthus cake, sweet-scented osmanthus glutinous rice balls, sweet-scented osmanthus lotus root that come to mind when I was a kid...let’s try making some osmanthus honey by yourself! Weekends never taste better!

When picking flowers, select fresh and tender petals. It is best to be careful not to use stems when picking. Main petals.

Come back and remove the stem. Rinse the petals under running water. Soak in salt water for ten minutes, remove and drain.

After drying overnight. The two bottles prepared in advance will come in handy after being sterilized and dried.

Put part of it in the bottle until the honey is on it. The honey can cover the osmanthus and it can be sealed. Ferment at room temperature for 7 days. It can be chilled in the refrigerator afterwards. Take out some whenever you want to eat to satisfy your craving.

One part is a layer of sugar and a layer of osmanthus until the bottle is full, and the top layer is covered with sugar to seal it. Store at room temperature and ferment for 7 days. It can be refrigerated later.
