Overview
There are a lot of food materials in the kitchen that need to be discarded. With a little diligence, they can be turned into delicious food. I made a pumpkin cup a few days ago. I dug out the seeds, dried them and fried them. I took them out and smacked them in my spare time. It felt more satisfying than eating them after buying them. Effects of pumpkin seeds: fragrant, neutral in nature and slightly sweet in taste. Mainly used for deworming and reducing swelling. It is used for postpartum edema of hands and feet, whooping cough, hemorrhoids, prevention and treatment of prostate diseases, relief of static angina, and diabetes.

Dig out the pumpkin seeds and soak them in water to remove the mucilage on the seeds and remove the seeds that are not solid. The soaking time is very optional. If you have time, you can wash it off immediately. If you don’t have time, you can soak it for half a day.

When cleaning, remove the pulp from the seeds. It doesn’t matter if it’s not completely removed. Purely natural plant fibers are also good.

Rinse three or two times. If the water no longer turns yellow, take it out and dry it in the sun. It will take several days to dry thoroughly. You can turn it several times during this period. The melon seeds will not dry out and will not become crispy when fried.

After drying, it will be a round disk.

Put 1 gram of salt in the pot, heat it up and add a little thirteen incense.

Pour in the melon seeds, stir-fry over low heat.

Fry the melon seeds until their shells turn dark brown and become fragrant. Some shells may turn black, but it doesn't matter if they are burnt. The color in the photo is a little off.

After frying, there will be a little salt and thirteen spices on the shell, giving it a slight taste, but most of the salt is still scattered in the pot. After it cools down, you can eat it.
