Glass sugar core flower cookies
Overview
This candy center is something I've always wanted to make. I saw someone making it a long time ago, and I was very curious about her glass core. Later, I finally understood that it was crushed fruit candies placed in the middle. The temperature in the oven melted the sugar, and when it cooled down again, it turned into a flower biscuit with a glass heart. This sugar core makes the biscuits cuter and cuter!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare all the ingredients. The butter should be softened at room temperature in advance. If it is not easy to soften at room temperature, you can heat it in the microwave at low temperature to soften it. Sift the low-gluten flour into a basin in advance
-
Smash the fruit candies, the more crushed the better! It is best to choose the kind with strong transparency. My candies contain cream, so the sugar core is not so translucent. Later, I changed to transparent sugar in the second set
-
Put butter and icing sugar into a bowl
-
Use a rubber spatula to mix the two evenly
-
Pour in the egg liquid in two batches and continue to beat at high speed. Wait until the egg liquid and butter are fully mixed before pouring in the next egg liquid
-
Use an electric mixer to beat the eggs at high speed until the volume is slightly enlarged and the color is slightly lighter. This is a butter paste
-
Sift the flour and milk powder together and sift into the butter paste. Use the flour to wipe off the butter on the egg beater. Do not waste it
-
First use a rubber spatula to stir evenly until it becomes loose
-
Then use your hands to knead it into a ball. Do not knead it like dough to prevent tendons
-
Place the dough on a piece of plastic wrap and press it into a flat piece with your hands so that it can be chilled more quickly in the refrigerator
-
After about 30 minutes, the dough becomes hard. Take it out from the refrigerator and roll it into a flat sheet about 2 cm thick
-
Use the cherry blossom mold to carve the flower shape, and then use the large mouth of the small flower mouth to carve the flower core
-
Arrange
-
Put it into the middle rack of the preheated oven at 160 degrees, turn the heat up and down, and bake for 5 minutes
-
Take it out, quickly put crushed sugar on the flower chips, then put it back into the oven, 160 degrees for 8 minutes
-
The surface and edges of the biscuits will be golden brown, and the sugar powder in the middle will melt and form big bubbles. When the time is up, take them out of the oven immediately. Place the biscuits on the baking sheet to let them cool naturally. I baked two trays in total
-
After it cools in the baking pan, you can gently remove it and place it on the rack to continue cooling; I baked two pans in total, and the bottom two rows were baked in the first oven. The time was not suitable, 170 degrees for 10 minutes. After taking it out and adding crushed sugar, I baked it for another 5 minutes. The color was too dark; so in the second oven, I adjusted the temperature to 160 degrees and baked for 5 minutes. After adding the crushed sugar, I continued baking for 8 minutes. The color and sugar were just right. Therefore, experience is gained through practice!

Cute, very cute! The biscuits are crispy, and with the participation of sugar cores, they are very interesting! The Chinese knotted fish ornament next to it was made by my son during his handicraft class. It really has a festive atmosphere. I put it here specially and it feels very coordinated!
