Fried Thousand Sons
Overview
Fried Thousand Sons is a local saying. During the Chinese New Year when I was a child, my mother always made this dish. In an era when there were not many meat products, it was really good to eat such a fragrant, juicy and crispy-skinned dish. I remember when I was full, I would run to the kitchen to eat one or two before going to bed. I always thought it was really interesting at that time. When my mother caught me, she would nag a few words of love and pity!
