Braised glutinous rice balls with raisins
Overview
It is a sweet soup that I loved to eat when I was a child. It is sour, sweet and very appetizing. I've always wanted to make it, and the raisins I bought were all eaten up, so I decided to make it quickly. With the addition of the peach gum I bought some time ago, the taste is even better.

Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients.
-
Soak peach gum in water. (I usually mix peach gum with water in the refrigerator for one night and use it the next day)
-
Wash the completely soaked peach gum to remove impurities and set aside.
-
Wash the raisins, add the soaked peach gum, bring the water to a boil, and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
-
Add appropriate amount of water to the glutinous rice flour and mix into a smooth dough. Let it rest for a quarter of an hour.
-
Take a piece of dough, roll it into a long strip, and use your hands to scoop out small pieces.
-
Take three to four in the palm of your hand and gently rub them smooth with both hands to form small glutinous rice balls.
-
Add the rolled glutinous rice balls to the raisin soup.
-
Add sugar and cook over high heat until all the dumplings float.
-
Sweet and sour, soft and glutinous sugary raisin peach gum-roasted glutinous rice balls are ready.
