Chocolate Toast
Overview
I specially made white toast and used the toast to make this chocolate western toast. Filled with chocolate sauce and yogurt and topped with noodles, it tastes sweet and satisfying. The chocolate sauce is very sweet, so there is no sugar in the custard when frying. The yogurt is also made by myself, with no added sugar. This way, when paired together, the chocolate sauce will not feel too sweet

Ingredients
Steps
-
First use a bread machine to knead the bread dough and let it rise until doubled in size. The recipe for toast is no longer given here. You can refer to the toast recipe I posted before
-
After shaping, use a toast mold for secondary fermentation, then bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. I baked two loaves of toast
-
Let the toast cool and slice
-
Put the milk and eggs in a bowl and stir well
-
For the convenience of soaking, I poured the egg milk into a plate, soaked the toast slices in it, and soaked both sides to let the toast soak up the egg milk
-
After the frying pan is hot, add a little butter, add the soaked toast slices, and fry over low heat
-
Fry until one side is set, then flip over and fry until both sides are set. Fry both pieces of toast in this way
-
Place a piece of fried toast on a plate, top with chocolate sauce, and then top with some yogurt
-
Place the other piece on top, top with chocolate sauce and yogurt
-
Use a spatula to break the solid chocolate into pieces and sprinkle them on top. I originally wanted to use bitter dark chocolate, but I had a piece of Dove milk chocolate on hand, so I chopped it up. But personally I think black chocolate tastes better
-
You can also put two rose petals for decoration, which will look beautiful and romantic.

This western toast can be cut and eaten with a knife and fork. When eating this way, the flavors of chocolate, yogurt and toast will fill your mouth, and a deep sense of happiness will fill your heart
