Overview

Every autumn here is the season for harvesting peanuts. Everyone will cook some peanuts to eat. Some of them will be dried after being boiled until they are finished. When you sit on the kang and eat them in winter, they will have a unique flavor.

  1. Take some fresh peanuts, wash them, put them into the electric pressure cooker, add aniseed, Sichuan peppercorns, dried chili peppers, and salt. I added more, and cook

  2. Put the cooked peanuts outside to dry. I dried them for about 3 days when the weather was nice.

  3. These are dried peanuts. We usually store them like this and take them out to taste occasionally.

  4. Place the dried peanuts on an electric baking pan and bake until the peanut kernels are toasted and crispy.

  5. The peanuts are roasted, I personally think it tastes better if roasted in the oven!
