Prepared materials: 250 grams of water chestnuts (10 pieces), two tablespoons of cornstarch, appropriate amount of rock sugar (quantity according to your own taste)

Peel the water chestnuts and chop into small pieces.

Pour 5 bowls of water into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, add rock sugar to melt, add water chestnuts, turn down the heat after one minute. (Chopped water chestnuts are easy to cook and don’t need to be cooked for too long)

Pour cornstarch into half a bowl of cold water and stir evenly with two chopsticks. Turn the pot to medium heat, pour in the cornstarch water, and stir evenly, otherwise it will easily become mushy. Turn off the heat when you see bubbles rising.
