How to make yogurt
Overview
The reason why yogurt is known as a longevity food comes entirely from the fact that it is rich in active probiotics. Probiotics are a group of microorganisms that have beneficial effects on the human body. They are 1,000 times smaller than the smallest physical object we can see with the naked eye. Although we can't see it, it is a real organism living in our bodies. Its quantity, population, and balance play a decisive role in the body's own immunity. As we all know, in order to improve the condition, taste and extend the shelf life of yogurt purchased from supermarkets, flavors, preservatives, etc. are added to the yogurt. Moreover, the production time is usually more than 2 days, the probiotic content in yogurt is almost zero, and the hygienic condition is worrying.

Step 1: Clean the inner tank of the yogurt machine and dry it. Yogurt machines sold on the market are usually equipped with inner tanks made of plastic, stainless steel or glass. However, none of them have good acid resistance and uniform heat conduction, so the ceramic inner pot is very suitable for yogurt fermentation.

Step 2: Pour in the milk. It is recommended to use sterile brick-type pure milk with better sterilization to make handmade yogurt. It has a high success rate and does not require boiling and sterilization, saving time and effort.

Step 3: Pour in probiotics and add yogurt to probiotics. Some friends have suggested that they want to make 500ml of yogurt at a time and use half of the bacteria powder. This is okay. After opening the packet, pour out half of the bacterial powder, and then seal it. The sealing method is very simple. Use a lighter to heat the cut opening, and stick the seal tightly with your hands while it is hot. Be careful not to get burned. Then still put it in the freezer of the refrigerator, but use it as soon as possible, otherwise it will not be usable after absorbing moisture. Note: For those who like sugar, you can add an appropriate amount of sugar according to your personal taste in this step, or you can add sugar after the yogurt has fermented.

Step 4: Stir until fully dissolved. Use a glass stirring rod or chopsticks to stir thoroughly until all the bacterial powder is dissolved in the milk. Stir for about 20 seconds.

Step 5: Cover and power on for 8-12 hours to make yogurt.

The yogurt is made and placed in the refrigerator. The prepared yogurt tastes better when stored in a refrigerator at 2-3°C for 1-3 days.
