Peel the halva and mash it.

Add butter, vegetable oil, and glutinous rice flour and mix evenly to form a filling.

Divide the dough into two parts, add matcha powder to one part and knead evenly.

Divide the dough into two halves of each color and shape into long strips.

Twist the four kneaded noodles and cut them into small pieces. After shaping, press into slices and wrap with the previously mixed fillings.

After wrapping a few dough in this way, I found that the dough was a little hard and it was not convenient to shape it into beautiful textures. So I simply mixed the two doughs together and added some water. Knead them lightly and form a ball. Don't knead too much. If you knead too much, there will be no pattern.

This is the first time I made this dumpling. The boiled ones are also the same. In fact, the breaded ones at the end are more like Nanyang jade. There is just a slight color difference in the green color, which may be due to the insufficient amount of matcha powder. I will try again later.
