  1. Wash the potatoes and carrots, peel them and cut them into cubes. Wash and soak the mushrooms until soft, remove the stems and cut them into cubes

  2. Pour a little oil into the wok, add star anise and saute until fragrant, add mushrooms and saute until fragrant, finally add potatoes and carrots and stir-fry

  3. Pour in dark soy sauce, sugar, mushroom soaking water, and appropriate amount of water. Bring to a boil and then turn to medium heat. Wait until the potatoes are cooked and the juice thickens.
