small pieces of winter melon.

Wash and cut into small pieces. (Don’t remove the skin, the winter melon skin can clear away heat and reduce internal heat.)

Soak and wash the seaweed.

Drain the pork fan bones into water and wash them thoroughly.

Wash the barley.

Put all the ingredients into a soup pot and add enough water.

Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 1.5 hours. (You can add salt to taste.)
