Microwave cake

Microwave cake

Overview

Because it was the first time I made it, the texture was not soft enough ~ more like an egg steamed bun😊! But 👪 my family still ate it up to save face!

Steps

  1. Separate the egg yolks (I need tools to help because I am not skilled enough. The egg yolks are easily separated! Friends who do not have this tool can also try using a mineral water bottle to try the egg sucking method!)

  2. Use a whisk to mix the egg whites and sugar (it’s best to use a stainless steel bowl. I beat very carefully at speed 1-2 the whole time~ because I’m afraid of breaking the bowl😊!!!)

  3. Add sugar in three batches and beat the egg whites until creamy

    Microwave cake step 3
  4. Use a mesh sieve to sift the flour and mix it evenly

    Microwave cake step 4
  5. I added two spoons of the passion fruit juice I made in the morning (an impromptu creation! You don’t need to add it at all!)

    Microwave cake step 5
  6. Brush the inside of the bowl with cooking oil to prevent the cake batter from sticking in the bowl.

    Microwave cake step 6
  7. Pour the mixed batter into the bowl! (It’s best to only install 1/2 or 1/3, otherwise the following tragedy will happen!)

  8. Heat it up in the microwave! High heat for 2 minutes, medium heat for 2 minutes. Look at Kitty wearing a hat!

    Microwave cake step 8
  9. What the finished product looks like after it comes out! Cut it open and take a look~ There is a smell of chicken cake!
