Hakka Food Fried Taro Buns
Overview
I was bored at home and found some taro seeds in the kitchen, so I wanted to make them into taro buns. Taro buns are a specialty snack of Hakkas in Ganzhou, Jiangxi. They are made from local taro, flour, chili powder, salt, minced green onion and minced ginger and fried in appropriate amounts. They are golden on the outside, particularly fragrant, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. One bite fills your mouth with the aroma of taro. During the Double Ninth Festival, which is usually celebrated on the 9th day of September by the Hakka people, every family will cook this delicacy.
