Nourishing duck soup
Overview
I haven't been feeling well recently, so I called my mother. She said she needed to take a supplement. She happened to go to Seattle and bought a bunch of medicinal materials and came back. So under her guidance, she made this Cordyceps Flower Nourishing Duck Soup. Cordyceps flower has the effect of enhancing immunity and improving memory. Adding Adenophora ginseng and Polygonatum odorifera slices makes the soup more moisturizing. I also added a little wolfberry, red dates and white lotus to nourish the blood and eye, and will not cause internal heat.

Steps
-
Preparation materials (mainly medicinal materials): Cordyceps flowers, Adenophora adenophora, wolfberry, red dates, Polygonatum odorifera slices, white lotus
-
Wash the duck meat, soak the medicinal ingredients in water, and soak the cordyceps flowers independently
-
Blanch the washed duck meat in a pot and add an appropriate amount of cooking wine to remove the fishy smell
-
Cut the blanched duck into cubes. It is best to remove the fat and skin, otherwise the soup will be very oily
-
Put all the ingredients into a casserole, add water and simmer for more than an hour and a half

This soup is very nourishing (I only removed some fat this time, but not the skin. As a result, there is still a layer of oil floating on the top of the soup, which can only be removed with a spoon before drinking)
