Chiba tofu without dry pot
Overview
I always like to order dry pot Chiba tofu when I go out, but I can’t get enough of it every time. I happened to have a piece of frozen tofu in the refrigerator, so I started making it myself. Since I don’t have a dry pot, I made a simple version

Frozen tofu slices

Pork belly slices

Add the pork belly and stir-fry the oil

After the oil comes out, push aside and add onion, ginger, garlic and Baoxiang

Add a spoonful of Pixian bean paste

Add some carrots
-
Add salt and fry until the carrots become soft. If you want it to be more flavorful, you can add some water and simmer for a while

Just add some chicken essence to season before serving
