  4. Strain it through a sieve into another bowl. This is a step to ensure it is tender

  5. Filter the egg liquid to remove impurities

  7. Cover the plate and steam over medium-low heat for 12 minutes. There will be no bubbles or honeycomb in the egg custard on top

  8. After taking it out of the pot, I added more water so the steaming was more tender
