Steps
-
Wash red beans.
-
The ratio of flour and cornmeal is 3:1, you can also choose to add it according to your own preference.
-
Add yeast and warm water to form a dough.
-
Knead into smooth dough.
-
The red beans are cooked in the rice cooker, so that the residual heat of the pot can be used to cook the red beans slowly.
-
After cooking, add sugar. I added a small amount of glutinous rice balls powder to increase its viscosity and prevent it from falling everywhere when eating.
-
After pressing into puree, roll into round balls.
-
After the flour has risen, knead it until smooth.
-
Cut into small balls.
-
Roll into dough.
-
Add a bean paste ball and wrap into buns.
-
Look, the mouth of the bun must be pinched tightly at the end.
-
With the mouth facing down, make a round shape.
-
Put into steamer.
-
After the water is boiled and steamed up, steam over high heat for 18 minutes. After turning off the heat, simmer for a few more minutes.

The red bean paste buns made by myself are absolutely free of additives and taste so delicious~
