I remember when I was a kid, my grandma made a kind of bean sprouts that was very fragrant. I asked some local elders to make them according to the gourd painting, and the taste was really similar.

Pick the plump soybeans and wash them

Put the peppercorns, aniseed, salt and water into a soup pot and cook for 5 minutes. Pour it into a basin and let it cool, then pour in the soybeans and soak them for 24 hours.

Take out the soybeans, pick out the dead beans and dry them (be very dry), heat the wok, add a small amount of soybean oil, when the oil is hot, pour in the soybeans and stir-fry over low heat.

Stir-fry until the soybeans shrink and become darker. Remove from the pan and let cool before eating
