It’s been a long time since I’ve had braised pork with pickled vegetables. The key is that I can’t buy high-quality pickled vegetables. The best pickles are golden brown and have a sour taste, which is super delicious!

This is the pork belly I bought. A little fat makes the pickled vegetables taste better

Put the pork belly into the pot and squeeze out the oil

After the oil is cooked, add red pepper, cinnamon, star anise, and salt

Add water to cover the pork belly and bring to a boil

After boiling, continue to cook the snow vegetables for about 5 minutes, spread on the pork belly and sprinkle with chili powder and sugar. Simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes, then sprinkle with chicken essence and serve.
