Add about two bowls of water to the pot, enough to cover the tofu skin. Add appropriate amount of marinade, I added about five tablespoons.

Put a green onion in the soup. If you like spicy food, you can add some chili pepper to increase the flavor. Boil over high heat for five minutes, and it will be ready when you can smell the aroma of the seasoning.

Add the washed tofu skin and cook for about five minutes. The time is optional. The tofu skin can be eaten directly. If you cook it longer, the flavor will be stronger.

After cooking, put it into a large bowl and let the tofu skin soak for a while to make it more delicious. You can soak it for as long as you like; the longer it soaks, the stronger the flavor will be.

Take out the soaked tofu skin and cut into pieces. Chop some coriander, chopped green onion, and minced garlic. Since it already has a salty taste, you don’t need to add any salt. Just add some light soy sauce if you like. Pour in the chili oil and stir evenly!
