Rinse the chestnuts and drain them; (air dry or wipe dry with kitchen towel)

Hold a chestnut in one hand and a knife in the other, and use a little force to make an opening on the surface of the chestnut; (the skin must be cut through)

Put the chopped chestnuts into a large basin, pour in a tablespoon of corn oil, and shake so that the surface of each chestnut is evenly coated with a layer of oil;

Line a baking sheet with tin foil, pour the chestnuts into a flat layer, put into a preheated oven at 200 degrees, and bake for 25 minutes
