Braised pork ribs with five spice radish
Overview
Radish, white in color, belongs to gold, enters the lungs, is sweet and pungent in nature, and returns to the lung and spleen meridian. It has the effects of lowering qi, digesting food, removing diseases and moisturizing the lungs, detoxifying and promoting body fluids, and is diuretic and laxative. It is mainly used to treat lung weakness, lung heat, constipation, vomiting blood, bloating, stagnation of food, indigestion, excessive phlegm, and difficulty in urination and defecation.

Peel the white radish and cut into pieces as thick as a thumb

Wash the spareribs, marinate with a little sugar, light soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes

Wash the green onions and cut into sections. Leave some green onion leaves and cut into chopped green onions for later use.
